Grandma & DD

And last but not least - Grandma & DD most definitely deserve a dedicated post! We are so thankful for having them along our side for this trip. I win win for everyone!
This one cracks me up. Lyla is in the throwing phase - check out DD's face after Lyla threw her sippy cup. It's funny because you'd think from this picture that he was thinking "I am not going to pick that up again". Oh does he have you fooled. Lyla could have thrown that cup 100 times and DD would have picked it up 100 times!
This one I love for several reasons. Check out Michael's face closely..he is having a moment for sure. On this day Lyla was being a picky eater - Grandma got her up on the table and started feeding her - I sure as heck wouldn't have tried that....a grandma's touch is like non other!
Look at our big girl!
Okay really - does it get any better than this??? How sweet is this picture!
DD helping Lyla out of her "beach condo" that he of course dug for her...
That is with her help...
Lyla picking up on some of DD's goofiness...
Another example of how great it was having an extra set of hands.
Take a look at this picture very closely....my favorites being:
* Lyla crossing her legs
* Lyla discovering DD's nipples - hilarious :)
* DD's face
A few moments later Lyla crawled on DD's lap and starting flaying herself backwards and laughing hysterically. Those 2 definitely make a pair and I love it!!!!
What do you do to keep a toddler entertained when you are stuck in the airport...wheel them in a wheelchair of course :)
Awww so sweet...
Awww so precious...
Lyla started saying Grandma and DD on this trip...I wonder why?!?!?!
DD showing Lyla the roosters in our backyard...along with his best rooster impersonation...
Grandma offered to get Lyla up from her nap...do you think she knew there would be some cuddling involved :)
The best moments from the trip were those impromptu moments from Lyla.
Just like the below...
Lyla saw Grandma & DD walking towards her so she welcomed them both with big hugs. This was actually the last beach day...she knew the time was coming :(
Like I said a win win for all! Selfishly for Michael and I it was great to have some help but the true WIN WIN was when we got to sit back and watch Lyla enjoy quality time with her grandparents and vice versa. Lyla is one lucky little girl to have such loving grandparents that would do anything for her.
And I have to say I am one lucky lady to have such amazing parents. From the Austin Family to you Grandma & DD - thank you and we LOVE you MORE!!!!

And that concludes our week at Vieques, PR. Conversations are already being had about next year's trip!!!!
