This past weekend we headed back to Michigan State for the Annual Football Player's Golf outing! So while Michael was enjoying his time with the fellas we headed to the zoo with Gunnar and Stephanie!!
Yeah for monkeys!!!
Lyla could care less that this goat was trying to eat her...in fact this is the only picture I got of her looking at the goat. Yep we still aren't quite there yet:)
And here is my last attempt - trying to explain that there is a huge camel behind her- yeah the attempt failed - haha!
At least - Round 2 was a better than Round 1 - she didn't sleep through the entire experience!! Stephanie and I swear both their eyes closed at the same time - life's rough :)

Funny - one day they have no clue whether they're at the zoo or not and the next day you look up and they're running around chasing peacocks and chanting "more monkeys, more monkeys, more monkeys"!
You just wait...Lyla will be in awe of all the animals soon enough.
I just have to tell you that last time we took Natalia to the zoo, she kept insisting that the Rhino was a Hippo - there was just no convincing that little girl.
BTW - Carrie is right, you are one hot mama!!!
