I had a doc appt yesterday. I am:
80% effaced
1 cm dilated
-1 Station
For some that may sound like a foreign language:) So in short things are happening and Baby Austin is definitely getting ready to make an arrival. The doc explained that it's great that I am almost 100% effaced. Reason being...because I am almost 100% effaced (thinned out) it will make dilating that much easier/faster. An analogy - hope it's not too graphic. Think of pulling a piece of rubber - is it easy to pull when it is thicker or thinner? I'll go with thinner:)
Now I hate when doctor's say this - they just shouldn't be allowed to get your hopes up - but he said, "I don't have a crystal ball but I don't think you will make it to your due date - you've already done a lot of work." But he is a doctor and knows what he is talking about - so I choose to believe him:):):) My hopes are exteremely high - I hope Baby Austin comes tonight!!!

Yes the quicker the baby comes the quicker I can try and talk my mom into letting me come back to Ohio.Hope to see you soon. :)
Hold up there Missy :) Although you don't sleep much these days enjoy every bit of it while you can and make sure you take your Boppy pillow to the hospital with you :) You can thank me later ;) Best of luck to you,

I'm getting impatient here. Can't wait to see new photos of Lyla (although I totally get that you'd much rather be staring at the little darling than a computer screen). I miss her already!!!!
