Note:
Since the beginning of time...okay so since High School...Michael has always called my parents Mr. & Mrs. J - or The J's. You will often see my parents referred to as "The J's" :)
Finally The J's arrived...Just how long would it take for them to catch on after our costume change? Mrs J. thought after a long day that we had decided to put on our comfy clothes. Mr. J, on the other hand was a little more curious....no surprise there! He read Michael's t-shirt first and looked confused....read mine....then came the scream, "WHAT.....Marilee, would you read their shirts?" A reaction full of hugs, shock, confusion, joy, and a million questions to follow! The long awaited moment was just as we envisioned...and WORTH the wait!
Next up...how are we going to tell Carri? Mom was already dialing the phone when we decided to email her the picture instead. If I could have seen Carri's reaction I imagine it was much of the same. Mostly shock and confusion - but overly excited! I must also mention that a month ago Carri had a dream that I was pregnant! A huge sense of relief lifted when I told Carri. I had a list of questions all ready to go....and they haven't stopped since the big reveal!
Telling family has made it feel SO real and even more special - we are so glad to be able to share the joy!

Yup - your prediction was right. My reaction was definitely shock, confusion & HUGE excitement!!!! And I couldn't sleep that night b/c I was so excited. And I think I'm going to stay this excited all the way up to the delivery. And then all new excitement once we meet "Baby A" and watch him/her grow up with Josie. HOORAY!!!! This is the best thing EVER!
