Baby Austin arrived a little early!

Kalie - the best 7 year old photographer - was snapping shots when she handed me this prop. She says, "Look it's your baby." Michael's looking a little worried - haha:)

And the winner is....

TADA.....all done! See I wasn't joking when I said we'd get the room looking like a baby room in no time:) Another checkmark on the Baby Austin Spreadsheet!! We now refer to the room as "The Baby Room" and get to enjoy it every time we walk to our bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is no longer part of our world! You also can get a little glimpse of the bedding. Next up is nursery furniture - stay tuned:) I hope everyone has a safe Memorial day weekend.

And Baby Austin kicks....

It's official...what I thought were kicks are definitely so...there is no denying it. I often hear prego women referring to the kicks as a flutter...to me I think Baby Austin is having fun doing flips, somersaults, handstands and my favorite - a round off back flips with a triple twist. The movements haven't been strong enough for Michael to feel but I don't think it will be much longer. I am patiently waiting the day when Michael feels his first kick.

What color do you like best for the baby room? Option 1 and 2 are more in the yellow family - Option 3 in the green family. I realize now that I have failed to mention...we are not going to find out the sex of the baby....hence the neutral color scheme.

3rd bedroom to Baby Room...

We are one step closer before we can officially call it "The Baby Room". Now that the room is cleared out it looks like a sad empty room:( Next up - time to paint! We'll have the room looking like a baby room in no time!!!!

My sister's dream below: "I had a dream the other night that you guys bought a Suburban & that you took a swatch of fabric in from your stroller so that the paint job would perfectly match the car seat. " Sounds like a perfectly reasonable plan to me:)

Since I am getting this question alot...I guess it's time to post...

Question: How are you feeling?

Answer: I feel fabulous - my energy is back:)

This past weekend I was so motivated that we started to clear out the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has already been referred to as "The Baby Room." We took 3 trips to our storage facility (must note it is 10 ...long city miles away). The room is almost cleared out. Soon we will be able to go shopping to start filling it back up with lots of fun baby stuff. HOORAY for having my energy back! Here I come 2nd trimester...bring it:):):)
