8-week Ultrasound

There's our little beanie baby! I am not one to explain my own emotions...a good thing for this situation because seeing our little beanie baby was truly indescribable. Enough said :)

Double digits!!!

Do you remember the feeling you had when you turned 10 years old? I remember feeling so excited that I finally reached Double Digits - I felt so old and proud and wanted to tell the world! My Mimi even wrote me a "Turning 10 Years Old" poem....I wish I remembered the poem!! If only I wasn't concealing the biggest secret I would call upon my sisters memory - I know she would remember! Today takes me right back to the feeling of that day! Today I am 10 weeks pregnant. FINALLY I made it to double digits!!! Time has never gone by so slow. I am getting so tremendously excited about telling family and friends! Michael and I have enjoyed "our secret" ...BUT we are READY to share the news!! Seeing my parents face and the big ole' hug that will follow with make it worth the wait!!! (14 more days)

First Ultrasound Appt: March 11th

Whoa...we just saw our babies heartbeat...162 BPM (beats per minute) Okay so let's just say that the heartbeat is really super uper fast! A normal rate for this time is 130 to 170 so our little beanie baby is in the upper eshilon. Go Baby Go! A normal adult heartbeat is 60 to 100. After seeing our little beanie baby on the screen - all worries disappeared - YAY cause there has been alot of that going on in the Austin household. I am so excited at the thought of announcing to the world that...I AM KNOCKED UP! 23 more days until we tell Mr. & Mrs. J the news in person (that would be my parents)!
